Wood Fired Vessel no 205

CA$140.00

Mini Vase measures approx 3.25" Dia x 4.25" H

Handmade, wheel thrown, one of a kind ceramic vase with liner glaze. This piece had been fired in a wood kiln for roughly 40 hours and naturally glazed with wood ash and the atmosphere of the kiln. The entire firing process from loading, cooling and unloading takes 8 days. This piece has a liner glaze and can hold water.

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art and cannot be exactly reproduced due to the atmospheric firing process used. Marks of the flame path or ash are not considered flaws but rather as unique characteristics to be celebrated.

Please use caution when placing any ceramics onto delicate surfaces, as condensation can naturally occur.  It is recommended to use felted foot pads to allow for air circulation under the vessel.

If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to send me an email or a message.
